I soldered a balanced cable for these tonight and feeding these with the Audio-gd Master-19 instead of the IEM output of the ADI-2 DAC makes quite a difference!
Though still the sub-bass is non-existing it can be added by the ADI-2. Got a set of Dekoni Velours en route for these.

I tried the mayflower baffles but those are destroying the sparkle for me.

I am looking for a proven modification of the mountain. They are too sharp and hissing. Mod with paper under the pad muffles, but loses resolution.
The D5200 is poetry against the T60rp.
I am helping myself with DSP in ROON but it doesn't quite work as I would like, there is less treble but still sharp character. The sound is not natural. It is like a metal stage speaker, not silky. Can anything be done about it? Do all planars sound so sharp?

What you powering these with? Mine only started to shine when I provided them with sources that can handle some current

Even the T60RP with the wood? I've watched several unboxing videos to look at the label but none have had a clear shot of the label. Any chance someone can confirm with a pic of the UPC label?
