Billy Cobham is an incredible drummer. Definitely underrated, IMO.

Spectrum and Crosswinds are great albums. To think that with Mahavishnu Orchestra, he was only 24. Another in a great line of young drummers. [ …Tony Williams, MD ‘second great quintet’, 17 !! … ]Billy Cobham is an incredible drummer. Definitely underrated, IMO.

Actually listening to two headphones, but i hope it can be excused for once. Comparing the D9200 and 'Starry Night' while listening to London Grammar's "Californian Soil". Imo an excellent mix and an intricate multifaceted sound experience which can shed some light on a lot of properties of a headphone.
The "Starry Night" does a remarkably good job and imo actually bests the D9200 in regards to soundstage and dynamics. Not bad for a novice headphone maker project at a much lower price. In the end, i would however still prefer the D9200 for this album, its timbre and especially it's ability to show even intricate small details with almost immaculate perfection impress and there is none of the harshness in the upper mids/lower treble which unfortunately can be somewhat of a problem for the unmodded Starry Night.
@Uebelkraehe Must say your Starry Night looks exceptionally good, I saw that Z reviews had a video on them but never watched.
Is there any mods solving the upper mid energy?

Haven't tried it myself so far, but in the Starry Night thread some owners apparently had success with relatively simple mods.@Uebelkraehe Must say your Starry Night looks exceptionally good, I saw that Z reviews had a video on them but never watched.

Ending day with ZMF Verite and some Spanish Guitar from Vicente Amigo
If I listen in my Seat at home, I mainly listen through my Denon AH-D7200 at the moment. My newest and most expansive pair as of now.
I power them with a Loxjie P20 tube AMP with GE5670 tubes and upgraded power supply. It get's fet either through a WIIM Mini, hooked up to a Loxjie D10 DAC or to my Project Essential III Recordmaster.
I listen to a lot of Stones again lately. Limited Edition Cover, clear vinyl "Goats Head Soup" on those images.
Also some Elvis, Keb'Mo and Turntable Rockers. All on Vinyl.
Tidal shoves Michael Jacksons History through my WIIM to my Denons.
