Lightly modified Ikko OH10s running off the Cayin RU6 whichnis decoding all the bits and pieces sent to it from UAPP on my phone.

Currently listening to a classich by an artist you maybhave heard of named Bush and his album Sixteen Stone. This album is exactly what post-grunger alternative was supposed to be. Some of it, like this record, absolutely killed it, while the other half or more wallowed in gimmicky nonsense until the genre was dead and all it's credibility was spent. All of that aside, I could sit on a curb, smoking a cigarette, and enjoying this album through and through feeling exactly like it was that era again. Highly recommended! 🤘😎

Qobuz > Gustard R26 (NOS) > Ferrum OOR & Hypsos (24.0V) > Meze Elite (Angled Alcantara Pads) w/Meze Audio Silver PCUHD Cable 🤙

This new release from Sleeping at Last is blowing my mind right now. Ryan O'Neal's song writing and raw, emotive vocals are unmatched.

"In my mom's very last days, she requested that she be cremated and that her ashes be spread in the ocean near Hawaii, her very favorite place. This past March, at the one year anniversary of her passing, my family and I made it to Hawaii to honor her wishes. "Bright Sadness" is about that experience, which was both heartbreaking and healing all at once. The first thing you hear in this song is my Mom's voice, as she was filming a family video of the very same spot of the ocean where we held her ceremony. She describes the beauty of the landscape perfectly: "this has got to be the closest thing to Heaven."

With the addition of the new Angled Alcantara pads the Meze Elite may just have the best imaging & instrument separation that I've heard on any cans. The soundstage is huge, very close to HD800S width. That being said, the Elite's party trick is the ability to create an expansive, 3D soundstage where every instrument is floating in its own space with tons of air and room to move sonically. At any moment you can focus on any individual component of the music and never lose it in the track. It's a gnarly way to listen to music. Admittedly, I'm not sure it works on every track however, on most, it's awesome! Vocals and stringed instruments sound incredible.

I grew up in the Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Candlebox, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden era. Miss those days!

Got a new toy today and I will be hitting these for at least week. I just upped the gain on both amps.

Already turned down the gain on the Valhalla 2. I prefer low gain at a higher volume. Of course I am only at 10:00 on the dial.

I am waiting for my local store to get one so I can demo, to me the new revision seem like a good upgrade. Enjoy your weekend 😁

I bought mine used with 5-6 hours in them, supposedly. I forgot how small and light they were. Super comfortable.

They fall short of my Clears which are for me, the perfect sound signature. I will adjust over to the new sound signature by tomorrow. I Like to have several different sound signatures in the house.
