For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Was at Willie's 90th birthday show on Saturday night.

Beyond a wonderful night and more marijuana smoke then I've ever been around in my life!!

Lol

Ha! Funny you mention that - I was just watching on YouTube earlier. The Snoop / Willie duet was interesting :sunglasses:

I saw Willie ~5 years ago (also at the Bowl) performing a solo show.

Snoop was definitely out of his element. But apparently they have a great friendship and bond over music and the reefer.

Yes - they are partners in high-crimes... the "purple haze" is a nice touch as well.

My family has held the same box at the Bowl for the past 40 years (red circle). Those were great seats you had right behind the control booth.

I'm burning in 3 Grados. All within 2 weeks old.
…. almost like kids (?) except that you don’t expect to send a Grado to “time-out”… 😳😒

ZMF Verite --- Schiit Lokius --- Feliks Aduio Echo

Just need some electronica and John Tejada never disappoints me. Also using the Lokius to boost in some extra low end.

My 8th and 9th pair of Sennheiser HD565's, recently added to my little Senn army.

Both refurbed and brought back to as-new condition.
However, these two were obviously from different eras of the production run as they have some subtle and not so subtle differences, the most significant of which is the material used for the driver baffles. One material type is a shinier, silky, slightly saggier material, while the other has a matt, paper-like, taughter material.

There are also subtle differences in the SS of both, enough to distinguish them apart. But ultimately both still sound amazing.
A true underdog, hidden gem, sleeper headphone and I have nine pairs of them for some reason.
:D

  • ZMF Atrium
  • Dan Clark STEALTH
Listing to them through the HEADA headphone amplifier or the HeadAmp GS-X MkII. Both are very good, though the GS-X is more neutral, overall, but still very musical. Both are very detailed. The amp really depends on the day and my spirits. :) The streamer setup is the Silent Angel Rhein Z1, Forester F2, and the Bonn N8 Pro which is a really sweet setup and plays just about anything. The DAC is the Pontus II, which is also very good.

YouTube > AirPod Pro 2's

Maybe my lamest gear post of all time but in the end it's not about the gear, it's about the music. For the Yes fans out there, Jon Anderson (at 78yrs old) & The Band Geeks have somehow managed to recapture the soul of Yes.

Growing up, my mother struggled with substance abuse. This made for a very turbulent childhood. My father grew up in the Boston music scene in the 70's. He was a bass player in various bands, music was his passion. When things would get difficult around the house my father would bring my younger brother and I into the living room, put an LP on his Audio-Technica turn table through his Pioneer head unit and blast his JBL's. This was our escape and some of my most cherished childhood memories. Yes Relayer and Rush Permanent Waves will forever be my top two favorite albums of all-time. Many years later my father took my brother and I to see Yes live in concert. I was immediately swept back in time. I got into this hobby so I can be back on the couch in my old living room with my father and brother. While the gear is fun, chasing the "perfect sound" is addicting. For me - this is what it's all about. Get lost in the music my friends.
