A Profusion of Thought by Antimatter - The new one from Mick Moss and it's a doozy! A stunning mix of prog, rock, metal, shoegaze and even folk and grunge, it shouldn't work but it does and then some. I only got it last night but have been playing it ever since and I can see it being my focus for a while, there's just so much to hear. Too early for any standouts, they all sound superb to me. Went with the Beyers again for this one as I want as much detail as possible, there's a lot of little touches to hear.

Had a listen and the vocals are what I am focused on. I think in every song and for nearly the whole song: we hear singing. I thought the vocals sounded familiar. It reminded me of a lower-toned Ivan Moody who didn't scream as much back then when I used to listen to metal!JRiver Media Center (PC) > SMSL SU9 > SMSL SH9 > Beyerdynamic DT1990 pro

Good ol' Hans Zimmer. I think he did an excellent job in Interstellar. I had a listen to this and was remind why I wasn't much of a fan of Zimmer's overall work, though. Personally, I have been listening to quicker and more exciting music and I find most of his work kind of boring. I am sure it works well as a soundtrack, though. He reminds me of an composer I used to listen to called Killigrew (now known as Krisu). When I listened on Spotify, most of the song was quiet and barely-audible to an extent: slow and long songs.

Re: your upcoming tour. Any chance you come in/close to Knoxville, TN?
Nope, sorry. We did a few months of US dates earlier this year so this tour is mostly Europe with a few dates in Australia.

I usually don't listen to old music at all, let alone old music that I have no sentiment nor familiarity towards, but I like this song:

Thanks, bro! I fully intend to have the time of my life. Tours take a lot of energy, but, done right, they are about as fun as it gets. I have to say that I'm a bit jealous of where you live though. Tennessee is a great state to love music in and the TN blues-rock and indie-rock scenes are so awesome! Thanks JA. Go have a great time! Safe travels fellow Head-Fier!!

Anyone else listen ? I have discovered so much from listening to this radio programme. I can remember as a kid a old uncle listening to it (I found that hilarious at the time)
Broadcast on BBC radio 3, but I never catch it live. BBC sounds is a treasure trove. Recommend Iggy Pop's weekly show too.
