Really enjoying it. It responds well with tube rolling. I have a W 396A in it, which is kind of ridiculous when looking at only pricing of the Vali 3 vs. the 396. But, at least for me, it is well worth it. I've been using that tube for awhile with the Vali 2++ and really enjoying that combo. But the Vali 3 with the 396a is a noticeably better combo. Seems to be that the timbre is more "solid" (smoother??). The bass seems better than the V2, as well as better instrument separation. YMMV.

I bought a WE 396A tube also. I justified the price by thinking that I was treating myself. A good dinner or bottle of bourbon doesn't last. I can enjoy this tube over and over again in my Vali 2++. The Vali 3 has caught my eye though. Maybe I'll just call it a treat. Lol.

Szalayi / RU7 / iPhone PM 15 / Qobuz

Idk how I missed new Burial but I am very upset… not that I don’t love his ambient stuff but it’s so nice hearing some more aggressive stylings from him, Dreamfear is very old school ravey this is amazing.

HIBY R8 II -> Schiit Lokius -> Topping A90 Discrete -> ZMF Verite Open

Watched a interview of Steven Wilson, got some urge to listen to some music of him again. His latest album didn't win me over when it came out, but now coming back its far more enjoyable. Perhaps an experimental album, but I also feel its very him making something like this.

Pump (1989) by Aerosmith - Aerosmith have always been a bit hit or miss with the strength of their songs but they really hit their peak in a big way with the trio of Permanent Vacation, Pump and Get A Grip. Pump is just full of great songs with riffs that once heard will linger for days but my favourite track has to be Janie's Got A Gun, the lyrics are heart breaking and Tyler delivers them with such venom, you can't fail to be moved. The SR325x are made for this kind of music, the guitars have this wonderful edge that just brings them to life - Audio nirvana.

[A&M: released March, 1971.] The last studio-recorded album with Peter Frampton in the group. A favourite of mine 🤷🏻‍♂️👍.
