Playing air guitar while sitting in the listening chair with a blanket over the legs and wearing IEM's is a challenge, but I'm up for it 🤘🎸🎶

Three Fates Project (2012) by The Keith Emerson Band - This is new to me and I was a huge ELP fan, it's mostly classic ELP tracks with the addition of an orchestra and some excellent guitar work from Marc Bonilla. As a very long time ELP fan it's great to hear new life injected into classics such as The Endless Enigma, Tarkus, Abaddon's Bolero and Fanfare for the Common Man, pieces that I've loved for more than five decades. Bonilla fits in seamlessly, he's a guitarist along the lines of Joe Satriani and he's allowed plenty of room to show his chops, with Emerson stepping back to make space, which as a result sounds nicely balanced. With an orchestra being involved it had to be the HD800S that got the head time - I'm sat here at the moment listening to the piccolo playing the start of Abaddon's Bolero with a large cheesy grin on my face - I love music. :darthsmile:
