On the Sivga Nightingale

'Forgotten Days' by Pallbearers

And

This album 'titanic' by Vidrio is totally cool and worth a few listens

Guardian blurb: "Somewhere between jazz and chamber pop, multi-instrumentalist Hector Tosta pairs a dizzying variety of sound with Mabe Fratti’s strings and vocals"

Sunday slow start 🌅
Keep coming back to this album whenever I just want some to relax to with a good cup of coffee, simply fantastic IMO.
The HD600's are also growing on my, I really appreciate what they can do differently from the HE1000. They are perfect for this album, where vocal and guitar is the main focus 👌

R7, Aune S17 Pro and Sennheiser HD600.

AEGTESKAB by Aegteskab 🎶

Very neat! Was about to start the below linked dreamy album after stumbling on the single 'Roots' from it. Will get to it, after AEGTESKAB.
Pulled out the Aful P8 as it renders guitars tremendously well

A synth pop album by Joe Keery, some cool tracks. Found this last night browsing Tidal half asleep, didn't know the actor was into music also.

Morph The Cat (2006) by Donald Fagen - This could easily be a Steely Dan album, which isn't surprising as it utilises a small army of session musicians previously used on Dan albums, all it's missing is Walter Becker. It's recorded to the same high standards as Dan albums and the writing is as brilliant as ever, it's just a really, really good album and just right for me to listen to before getting some well needed sleep.

I put the final piece in place tonight with a nice R2R NOS DAC to go with my V222 amp. I finally went with the Holo Audio Cyan II NOS DAC in favour of the Denafrips Ares 12.1 as it has a proper output stage, so can have two amps plugged in at the same time and is a true NOS DAC while the jury is still out on the Ares. In the last six weeks I've bought the HD800S, the V222, annual subs for roon and Qobuz and now the Cyan II, so I am officially broke and now have to learn the dark art of patience because it's a pre-order and I have to wait for in-coming stock that hasn't already been sold to arrive before I can have mine - it could be a while.
