This is like the 300th release from the Ozrics since their first release back in the early 1980s. And if you've heard one Ozrics recording, you've heard them all. But as Frances the badger says about bread and jam, "I always know what I'm getting" with an Ozrics release. There are those days when "bread and jam" is exactly what I want.

Silly and cliché for me to say, but Wes Montgomery inspired me to pick up a guitar again after a decade away. As well-known as he is, he still isn't treated as the "guitar god" he deserves to be known as. Mad props.

Pure Cult (1993) by The Cult - I've always liked The Cult though I wouldn't put them in the upper echelons of rock music inhabited by the likes of Zeppelin, Purple, etc. but they are still a damned fine band. So sparked by @Markolav posting Sun King at the top of the page I dug out my Greatest Hits album, Pure Cult. It has all their hits on there and is overall a very good album but I have one major problem with it - I get as far as Edie (Ciao Baby) and can get no further, I automatically start hitting replay, over and over and over. They have had a ton of hits over the years but Edie (Ciao Baby) is on a totally different level and in my humble opinion is one of the finest rock songs ever written.
