What are you not happy with - IMO asking for burn in time is usually a substitute for "I don't like what I am hearing now, but I spent so much money so I am going to suffer through the "burn in" process - but how long do I need to suffer before these damn cans start to sound good."

I have an ovation and drove utopia with it. Thought they sounded amazing together. Sold utopia and just recently bought a pair again as I missed the combo. I don’t have a lot of experience listening to tube headphone amps outiside of canjam so can’t give any good comparisons. You won’t have a lot of play on the volume knob of that amp with utopia.

I know that the Clear had a cable that used Litz copper, because when I went to shorten a spare one I discovered this. However, when I did that with the original Utopia cable, it was just non-Litz copper. I don't recall if Focal ever stated what it was. I don't think the 2022 has Litz wire, as it has similar rubbery cable as before.

Thank you for the info, yes focal doesn't state which metal -— or combination of metals-— on their cavles. Nonetheless the sound is good, nut later when my triple threat adapters arrive i'll try my Lavri Grand on these HPs

Every HP has litz wire cable. Dont know of one HP that has solid copper wire cable.
In case of Utopia OG it is a helix litz wire.
