He can get the connectors and the price was totally reasonable at about $140 shipped depending on the options. I highly recommend going this route if you're not a believer of overpriced cables. The cable he made was very high quality.

Is the Focal Utopia so good, that I can order it without auditioning? I won't be disappointed next to the HD 800 S + Chord Dave combination considering it costs $4000?

I'm thinking about ordering it online from any dealer that has them in stock, even if it is from a different country.

You guys all know we have them in stock nearly 100% of the time. Anyone in the US can make a purchase from us. Being that the Utopia and Elear are hand made, I wouldn't suggest buying off shore and simply because if something does go wrong the North America distribution has no reason or funds to support your purchase. Do what you like but buying things this expensive off shore really makes no sense. I understand that there are people that just have get a deal, it's the hunt I guess. Hell I've done it with cars but I'm buying locally so I have recourse if something goes south.

Returns are a 10 day window from date of receipt. There is a cost associated to the return. This cost is the cost of the transaction and shipping. Cost of transaction is generally 3% and shipping is determined by your receiving address. That 3% is what paypal or credit card companies charge us and don't give us a refund on.

Ok thanks all. I think I will give my local dealers one more month so that can also demo them in the shop. But I somehow doubt they will have them in stock this year.

Else I might have to do something which I normally don't do which is ordering online without any auditioning
