A short while ago I asked if anyone could suggest a supplier for an
adapter which allows a double helix prion4 cable to be used with focal utopia headphones.

I purchased such an adapter from ted allen

The adapter is very strongly recommended, and I am sure that he is able to supply adapters for other headphone/cable combinations.

Great. I might be wrong becaise it's late here but I haven't seen any focal terminaison available. So I'd still favor Ted even if I think Norme is worth consideration and is in my short list.

Hi Nick, I'm in France and from all I know, the only way to buy a danacable Lazuli is to order it from the US. Or find a used on which is Mission : Impossible

Ted from Headphonelounge has a turnover of 1-2 days to build cables. More if he has to order a specific part.

I’ve just had a driver failure with my Utopia. Fortunately, it is still just within warranty and my dealer has sent to Focal’s UK repair centre. I don’t think there have been that many failures with the Utopia but I would be interested to hear from anyone who has had a driver replacement whether the replacement was a good match in sound quality terms for the other driver. When I had one of my LCD-4 drivers fail, both drivers were replaced by Audeze so that they matched. I think that is common with planar drivers but not sure if it would be an issue with the Utopia’s drivers.
