I would go with the Forzas... probably the cheapest ones, I know folks who have Forza "entry-level" copper cables with their Clears and/or 650/6xx and it looks very nice.
I love my Elegia, but I’ve got to strongly disagree with you regarding the stock cable. It is absolute crap. It looks good, and seems well made, but that’s an illusion that is literally only skin deep. I baby my headphones and their cables, yet the the left side of the stock Elegia cable started going intermittent less than 2 months into ownership, and failed completely a few days later. And I know I’m not the only one who’s had that experience. It’s also ridiculously stiff...and intrusively microphonic.

So do I. Will soon compare them to my MSR7 which I'm using for three years now, hence the question above. I expect to be naturally biased towards MSR7, unless Focal will blow me away. I'd be rather trying to justify the investment than protect it, thus I was hoping that if there is somebody here in the opposite position to mine, he or she could share their counterbalancing thoughts.

The left side is a known issue by Focal, if a survey is made with all Focal owners a good part of them had problems with the Left side of the cable. Doesn't mean ALL will have an issue, but if one has, is a good chance it will be on the left side.
Curious to see how they will come with the new models (if will have have ones).
It's been a few days since I've been on this thread. But honestly, I thought I'd be using my new headphones the most but the Elegia I think have truly taken a special space in my heart. I always go back to them, it's closed headphone that sounds spacious, very detailed, very clear, amazing low end, mids and treble and just gets most things done right. Yes the Ultrasone Edition 11 to me though is a step ahead when it comes to enjoyment, damn they get me singing and start tapping my hands or feat. Extremely fun and engaging headphone with great clarity and detail and imaging that can scare and excite you. The soundstage on them is insane as well. But the Elegia are just so heavenly. I have fallen asleep wearing them so many times with a massive smile on my face. And after wearing the Dekoni Leather earpads for a while now, they do soften up a bit. Extremely comfy now
