Hi! After a very long decision making process, I just now decided to buy the Focal Clear and not the Utopia. Decisive factors were of course price and the fact that I can reuse existing 3.5mm connector cables. I now found some rumors of a new closed headphone by Focal called Elegia (on a German website). Does anybody know anything more specific about this model and how it will compare to the clear/utopia? From its price, the product sits between the elear and clear (EUR899). Here the specs:
- Typ: Geschlossener Kopfhörer (type: closed headphones)
- Impedanz: 35 Ohms
- Empfindlichkeit: 105 dB SPL / 1 mW @ 1 kHz
- THD: 0.1 % @ 1 kHz / 100 dB SPL
- Frequenzbereich: 5 Hz-23 kHz (frequency range)
- Treiber: 40 mm ‚M‘-Form Aluminium/ Magnesium Membran (driver specification)
- Gewicht: 430 g (weight)
- Zubehör: 1.2 m asymmetrisch 3.5 mm Klinkenstecker, 3.5 mm auf 6.35 mm Stereo-Klinken-Adapter, Hartschalen-Transportcase 250 x 240 x 120 mm (accessoires)
