What kind of music do you like?

Yeah, I was trying to leave it open-ended, but as you asked:

Classic rock primarily
Some prog (mostly Yes; also Camel and Wishbone Ash)
Trance/ambient/electronica/dub (Phutureprimitive, Jean-Michel Jarre, Koan Sound)
Blues (T-Bone Walker, BB King, Albert King, Albert Collins)
More "recent" stuff like Black Keys, Goldfrapp, Mew,
Soundtracks, especially Hans Zimmer lately

Tool - Lateralus is a personal favorite.

Classic Rock: "More Than a Feeling" - Boston, Boston
Progressive Rock: "Leave It" - Yes, 90215
Trans: "Tubular Bells" - Mike Oldfield
Blues (my jam): "Sure Got Cold After The Rain Fell" - ZZ Top
Modern Stuff: "Gold On The Ceiling" - Black Keys
Soundtracks (Zimmer): Pretty much the entire "Gladiator" sountrack
Soundtrack (other): Currently on a "Lord of the Rings - The Rings of Power" soundtrack kick. Pretty much anything Bear McCreary, actually. The "Battlestar Galactica" sound track is good, too!

Just a few suggestions - so many to choose from...

What are some complementary headphones to the clear?

If by complementary you mean different sound sig in the same price range....the Clear are often grouped with the Aryas, LCD X, and sometimes a ZMF like the Aeolus for a range of similarly priced cans that sound remarkably different

In same price range as my Clear MG I have ZMF Auteur Classic, Audeze MM-500. The three are all excellent yet differ in sound signature and technicalities. I enjoy them all very much.

What are some complementary headphones to the clear?
As always a very personal answer but in my case the DCA AEON Noire is a perfect choice.
Closed, portable, light and super comfortable.
Darker sounding with still very good detail and a bit of sparkle up top.
Strangely I preferred it to the Arya V2 which I owned for a few months and never really liked that much.
Arya was closer to the Clear tuning, with excellent soundstage and clarity, but I almost always felt that the Clears were more realistic and energetic.
The Noires are certainly also less energetic than the Clears but the tuning is great for a more relaxed listening. Lots of details and good layering, a bit of sparkle but not too much, good space and good bass extension.

Fact is that the Noires get way more listening time now and I really did not expect that.
Caveat: they need a lot of power! I am using Chord Mojo 2 and Hugo 2, they are ok but I‘d not want any less powerful device.
