Headband protection like this?

Tested headband cover like this and zipper might leave markings.

It’s the way to go!…no issue with indentation when I looked…

Dekoni fenestrated?

I wonder about the Elex pads on the Clears.
I've gone for the dark look with Elex pads and a black Geekria neoprene headband cover. No change in sound with the Elex pads as they're just Clear pads in a different colour.

This is the headband cover:

Exactly like that.
Bear in mind that over time the tight fit of that cover can leave 2 indentations that run the length of the top of the headband. They're caused by the stitching along both sides of the zipper on the inside of the cover.

I took my cover off, but the indentations are still there. They're not horrible, but they're noticeable.

Here are a couple pics.

True, but I like the look of the cover and don't worry too much about the indent being visible when I remove them, although I suppose could affect re-sale.

Hello mate
I want update my headphone
In the last 2 years i try hd600/620 and 650 , sundara and ananda
But not find the perfect match
I want a open sound , Great voice and soundstage .. i like trebble but not fatigue
I dont want invasive bass
The budget for headphone is around 1000 euro , used is better
I have thinking about
Zmf aeolus used
Focal mg clear
Hd800s
And need one dac/amp to connect headphone ti my iphone 12 pro (500/600 euro budget )
IFI idsd signature
Mojo 2
Other ?
Thx a lot
I have the mojo 2, ifi micro iDSD signature, I enjoy them both a lot, but there's something about the Dethonray Honey that I just keep going back to. I love the smoothness of the sound to the extent that I managed to end up with 2 units (although I plan to sell one soon). My one confusion about it is that even though it's claimed to be more powerful than the Mojo 2, I feel like the Mojo drives my Arya V2 to louder volumes. But Honey is loud enough for me (I listen at around 75db, with 33% of the volume headroom to spare on High Gain) and the Honey has a special sound quality IMO.

As for headphones I love my Clear Pro OG and my Arya V2, both within your budget now if you can find them. Soundstage is amazing on the Arya but you may find the treble bright. Personally I find it just hits the level that I would not go beyond.

The clear has ok soundstage (nothing special, but not bad), amazing detail, punch, all the things said before, and treble shouldn't be an issue at all.

Just providing the information so folks can make an informed decision. I know that I would want to know if an aftermarket mod could cause permanent cosmetic alterations - even if they were modest alterations.

Maybe using the hair dryer method they might, but on their own - no, no they won't. I've had the cover removed from these for months now. Been using the ugly knit one that was also recommended early on.
I also have that ugly knit cover but I find it uncomfortable and just interferes with a good fit. I do want to keep the headband clean though so I just use a small, thin cloth between my bald head and the Clear’s head cushion. Fit feels natural and keeps the cushion clean. It may look a bit silly but I don’t care.

I've had the Clear for a week, feel like they're nicely "broken in."

I welcome any album or track recommendations that might approach goose-bump territory on the Clear. Thanks!
