Tested headband cover like this and zipper might leave markings.

Dekoni fenestrated? It’s the way to go!…
No markings here, was it the same headband or "like this"?Tested headband cover like this and zipper might leave markings.
It was Geekria from Amazon, can't remember exact model. Kept it for like 30mins and checked, there was very slight indentation from zipper line forming. No markings here, was it the same headband or "like this"?
I've gone for the dark look with Elex pads and a black Geekria neoprene headband cover. No change in sound with the Elex pads as they're just Clear pads in a different colour.Dekoni fenestrated?
I wonder about the Elex pads on the Clears.
Bear in mind that over time the tight fit of that cover can leave 2 indentations that run the length of the top of the headband. They're caused by the stitching along both sides of the zipper on the inside of the cover.Exactly like that.
Maybe using the hair dryer method they might, but on their own - no, no they won't. I've had the cover removed from these for months now. Been using the ugly knit one that was also recommended early on.These fine imprints will go away over time, you can also use hair dryer and smooth them out.
True, but I like the look of the cover and don't worry too much about the indent being visible when I remove them, although I suppose could affect re-sale.Bear in mind that over time the tight fit of that cover can leave 2 indentations that run the length of the top of the headband. I took my cover off, but the indentations are still there. They're not horrible, but they're noticeable.
Here are a couple pics.
I have the mojo 2, ifi micro iDSD signature, I enjoy them both a lot, but there's something about the Dethonray Honey that I just keep going back to. I love the smoothness of the sound to the extent that I managed to end up with 2 units (although I plan to sell one soon). My one confusion about it is that even though it's claimed to be more powerful than the Mojo 2, I feel like the Mojo drives my Arya V2 to louder volumes. But Honey is loud enough for me (I listen at around 75db, with 33% of the volume headroom to spare on High Gain) and the Honey has a special sound quality IMO.Hello mate

Just providing the information so folks can make an informed decision. I know that I would want to know if an aftermarket mod could cause permanent cosmetic alterations - even if they were modest alterations.True, but I like the look of the cover and don't worry too much about the indent being visible when I remove them, although I suppose could affect re-sale.
I also have that ugly knit cover but I find it uncomfortable and just interferes with a good fit. I do want to keep the headband clean though so I just use a small, thin cloth between my bald head and the Clear’s head cushion. Fit feels natural and keeps the cushion clean. It may look a bit silly but I don’t care.Maybe using the hair dryer method they might, but on their own - no, no they won't. I've had the cover removed from these for months now. Been using the ugly knit one that was also recommended early on.
What kind of music do you like?I've had the Clear for a week, feel like they're nicely "broken in."
I welcome any album or track recommendations that might approach goose-bump territory on the Clear. Thanks!
