I have cans that cost more but the Focal's sound much better to me. They sound good, look good, fit well, the build quality is good.
Overall, they ooze "quality" Have never been happier with a pair of full sized cans than my Focals'....

I don't have have any headphones that cost more but I like these headphones in every way too. I think they sound fantastic and are comfortable. I've owned my Pro's for a little over a year and really enjoy them.
Just curious, what are some of your other cans that cost more?

I owe them another critical listen. My Meze Empyrean came in around the same time and I've been a bit preoccupied.

As I recall, they added some bass and slightly dropped the sibilant highs, evening out the Clear MG's. They didn't make them 'Baby Utopias', but they are a worthwhile investment (as is an upgraded cable, the factory one is pure garbage).

No, I didn't hear the Arya Stealth, only the V2. But it's not just the punchyness I missed, I also preferred the tuning of the Focals. The Arya sounded a little sterile to me. Too analytical. Following the Arya thread there are more discussions about amplifiers than the headphone itself. The Focal Clears sound great with a Chord Hugo2 and I don't want to go down another rabbit hole looking for an amplifier to match my headphones.

In my opinion the clears are the best mid Fi headphones I would choose them over the Arya's V2 and Stealth only because you can buy the clears cheaper and the stealth kinda sounds like a Clear now for more money lol.

Yep the Clears are end game for many.

I bought the Arya V2 3 months ago, and just sold them again.
The Arya has excellent separation, the wide and deep soundstage and very good detail.
But I preferred the Clear's dynamics and realism. They inject more energy and life into the music.
The Dekoni Stellia Ltd pads also help a lot, making the Clears a bit darker, with better spatial positioning and focus, and a somewhat tighter sound.

No, I have not. Audeze is on my list, but I'm currently waiting patiently for the release of the ZMF Atrium. Then it'll be LCD-4 or LCD-5's.

Exactly the same except for the box color (purple vs. mint green).

Find my experience with this earlier in the thread. Mine rubbed off just by touching it - no pressure or alcohol needed.
