Did anyone compare the Clear with the R70x or the Teak? Actually I use the R70x. I would use the Clear die Rock, Metal and blurays. Is the Clear a step above them? And is it True That the Clear is netter for Rock than the Utopia and HE-1000 because of the warmth? The next step would be the Utopia or HE-1000 but these cans are much more expensive and a lot of people say the clear is cheap for its price and has got a „speaker sound“. I think I will Order it. A good value for the price. Is that Right? The only question is: Does it make sense to change my Smsl Sh-9 against the SP400? Not for unbalanced. But for balanced? „Fully“ balanced and double power? Or better to Save the Money?

Hello everyone,
Just dropping my recent Radiance review where I draw comparisons with the Focal Clear (and the Atticus):

Let me know what you think…

Nice review. I haven’t heard the Atticus or the Radiance, but your description of the Clear sound matches my experience.

Hi , For me, there are no differences, they sound as good as the original and especially it costs less
Dito. Also using the Elex pads on my clear right now. My old ones were falling apart.

Heads up for all you other Focal/Geekria users. I've had the gray Geekria on my Clears for about 3 months now. I just picked up the black version to go with the Elex pads I ordered, and when I took off the gray cover, I noticed that the interior seams of the cover have left indentations in the pleather top of the headband. They run the full length of the headband, 2 lines about an inch apart.

I doubt these will come out over time. So if you want to keep the top of the band smooth and indentation-free, you might want to find another option.
