Those look rather snappy !!Agreed, they are a very good option. I also really like the ZMF Crescent Snap as an alternative headband cover, that also really adds to the comfort. Very cozy!

So glad I didnt sell my Clear OG. I forgot how wonderful sounding it is. Love its warm neutral signature. Acoustic guitars sound so divine. Nitsch Pietus Maximus is a perfect pairing amp.

Got my Clear OG in the mail today. The seller (from Reddit) included two extra set of stock earpads, which I'm now grateful for, because I think they were a smoker, and the ones they were using definitely smelled like it. the extras were still in the package, so I went ahead and switched them, and we're good to go, unless I put my nose right up to the headphones, which, I don't plan on doing often.
Comfort is actually really good. I think "normal" shaped headphones work well for my head shape. Sound is actually more laid back and smooth than I expected. Very tonally accurate, better bass punch than I expected (almost too much at points?) midrange is pretty lush sounding, and treble isn't harsh to me at all. Drum cymbals sound correct, and are not overbearing, though not forward in the mix at all, which is fine by me.
I'm impressed. I got these, the Arya Stealths, and the 109 Pros to compare, with the hope being to find a clear (lol) winner, but it's a pretty hard choice between the 109 Pros and the Clears honestly. Not in a rush, so I'll sit on that for a while.

I also had the 109 Pro's, but got rid of them after a few months.
I do have a set of Arya's (V2), but I don't find them nearly as good as the Clear's.
But of course it's all about personal preference.

Even to this day the Clear OG is still a top performer and its even better at the current market price new and used. Need to grab more pads as the grey ones tend to get dirty; even though, I only wear them after showering.Got my Clear OG in the mail today. These came with two extra sets. I put a new set on immediately (yes I know how expensive they are, haha) and I have a backup. I'll gauge how fast these wear down on me, then decide if I need to stock up.Even to this day the Clear OG is still a top performer and its even better that the current market price new and used. I've had clear OG for just under a year now, I bought new and even bought a spare set of pads from headphones.com
My pads are still like new.

Huh, yeah these things are really cool. I can throw any genre at them. Progressive metal (my bread and butter), emo/hardcore, hip hop, pop, country, indie rock... it all works. Might end up getting the Capra strap. I only have 3 clicks left on each side though, will that be enough to add the strap? @ttys0 I think you are the only person in here I saw mention the Capra strap.

Should be fine? Here's what it looks on mine. It just hooks onto the metal yokes, and there's a plastic piece that then snaps over the top to keep it from popping off.Huh, yeah these things are really cool. I can throw any genre at them. If I have the Hadenys already is the Clear more of a side grade or an upgrade? I'm seeing an excellent condition used set on CAM. Not sure if the price is a bit high at $1,000 Canadian. https://www.canuckaudiomart.com/details/650188438-focal-og-clear/ I was looking at either these or a Clear MG.

I'm really enjoying my Clears on the Piety. If you've heard Piety, would you say the Pietus is worth the upgrade?
I have a Clear OG coming next week. I was wondering what the best option is for a headband cover. I know the headband and pads are prone to discolour over time.
