Focal Clear headphones

Yeah, that one. They have that inner fabric rings which are very important for maintaining the original sound signature as much as possible. The perforated version might be your liking too but it might not be 100% match for you Radiant sound wise (perforated vs non-perforated).
Thx dude, pads just arrive and they're sounding great, it's not exactly the same to the original radiance pads, but they're good enough that I decided to keep them on the HP and preserve the original pads until and IF focal decides to sell original replacement pads, this pads are like 90%-95% there of the originals sound wise.

yesterday I used an OCC 7n cable which is excellent for the mg, it makes it cleaner and less noisy, I liked the silver cable less because it was less fun.
Have also had very good success with OCC wire and the Clear OG: hybrid cable--4 cores 28AWG solid UPOCC silver + 4 cores 24AWG solid UPOCC copper--seems to work best [with the OG].

If one is able, copper/silver intertwined (not plated) headphone cable works charms with Clear OG - no experience with Clear MG.

One that I have never tried.
They do sound great on all my amps though. Just a happy headphone. Happy with any genre or any amp. :L3000:

I received my balanced Audiophile Ninja cable for the OGs a week ago but was out of town until last night. I've been listening all day with the SA1 and I like it. I have Dekoni velour and fenestrated sheepskin pads sitting on my desk. I didn't like either of them as much as stock with the SE cable. Going to try them again with the balanced after I listen stock for a while.

I had the neoprene headband cover since I got the headphones but I decided to swap out for the 'ugly' headband cover because I find it more comfortable. It also matches the cardigan I wear a lot when sitting at my desk. Is headband cover-rolling a thing?

Can I ask at what volume you listen to? High gain?
And would you call yourself a loud or quiet listener?
Thanks

I don't consider myself a loud listener. 10-11 o'clock on low gain is about as loud as I go with the Clears without EQ. With Oratory1990 EQ settings, I'll go up to maybe 12 but I mostly listen without EQ. I only really turn it on to play with SoundSource but the 'magic' is gone when EQ is running.

I am a quiet listener with some very efficient headphones and am curious about the SA-1. I normally never have much room at all to play with the volume knob.
