Focal Clear headphones

I don't see the clear professional pads anywhere on the website. Is it only the standard clear pads available?
I just signed up with Headphones.com and received an email from PayPal saying that if I pay with PayPal, I will be credited $30, which fully covers the shipping. I just ordered a pair of Focal Clear pads. Total damage- $98.18

Makes sense sure, but what would you rather do? Spend $10 on an actual item and get free shipping or spend $30 on just shipping?

I don’t use them either but I might end up doing that.
Maybe just send them an email then, asking if they could give you free shipping or maybe reduced price shipping?

seems so wasteful to have perfectly fine tips just going into the garbage

I found one site, Audio Advisor, that has them for $100 and free shipping on orders over $45 but I’ve never ordered from them before, and they only ship in the US.
Careful-

According to their website, the pads are sold as singles, so my read is $200 for the pair.

Hello,

I'm new to the headphones/amp/dac approach. Have new Focal MG in hand. Schiit Bitfrost 2 and Jot2 on backorder - late May for Jot2.
Have dongle for iphone arriving tomorrow. Understand will get reasonable sound from Iphone.

Is there a good new/used combo amp/dac I could buy to tide me over? Thinking 200 to 250 that will get me most of way there - not quite to Jot2 and Bitfrost 2. Don't want to distort/color first experience with quality headphone by going 100% iphone. When Schiit stuff arrives, this will be decent backup for home (will use Jot2... at work)

Thanks!

Cross Post from the MG Thread.
if your are looking for a different tuning of the Clear, try the Dekoni Limited Stellia pads.

You can use the sheepskin or the Limited Stellia pads and you will get rid of the upper mids peak and come closer to a HD650 tonality (even more than with the Clear MG).
Check out this website: Miniklangwunder
Unfortunately in German but the graphs are self explanatory. You have to scroll down a little bit, first part is about Elegia and Celestee.“
