Anyone have a kinda creaky headband? Is this a thing? I had a rattle in one ear cup on these and now sometimes when I turn my head the headband makes a click noise. Maybe it just needs to break in with some use?

My headband is creaky as well. Only when putting them on and swiveling the cups. Silent when placed on my head.
Yeah, it felt like I could open it up and find a screw rolling around. It never created a problem with sound in use thoughI have that weird rattle in one cup as well. Doesn't affect the sound at all.
Seems like something beyond a loose screw.Yeah, it felt like I could open it up and find a screw rolling around. It never created a problem with sound in use though
When I hold the cup tight a certain way, the rattle goes away.

So far only wonderful sound out of mine I noticed the headband is extra easy to move and sometimes it will click to the next notch.

Mine developed a rattle in one ear after a few weeks. The dealer exchanged them for a new set, no questions asked. No rattle since then.

Seems like the Focal Clears have a history of issues with failed drivers, rattling in the cups and the head and ear pads getting dirty very quickly while not withstanding pad cleaning very well (not good considering new pads are going to cost $200 U.S.).
Come on Focal, not what a pricey headphone is supposed to be like!

Are we talking rattling inside the cups while moving them around, or drivers rattling when tested with low frequency pure tone signals?

I don't think I've read anywhere about failed drivers. That's interesting.

Never heard too - Can you please send a link to that history of failed drivers? Thanks
Yes please. Mine don't rattle but the fabric sucks.
Had a rattle in one ear cup and now a bit of a headband click/rattle. I’ll give it some time I guessAre we talking rattling inside the cups while moving them around, or drivers rattling when tested with low frequency pure tone signals?
