Hmm, from what I've read so far I might save up more for the Utopia, especially since i have a connection that can get me a new Utopia for around ~2100-2200 Euro converted, but since the Utopia has been having sales I'm starting to get afraid that it might get a successor like the Elear did soon, what do you guys think?

Hey! I'm a head-fi newbie and am waiting for detailed impressions on the Focal Clear before deciding whether to get the Clear or a mint condition Utopia. If you can indeed get a brand new Utopia for 2200 euros, my advice is POUNCE on the deal! Even if the Utopia gets a successor, it will still be one of the best headphones in the world and even with a successor, I don't think the Utopia's price will fall below $3k.

I don't think the clear is a successor to the elear. If that was the case the clear would be priced at the same range as the elear

Give it a few days! People here in the States are just receiving them as of last Friday and Saturday.
