Is there any overlay of Clear/Utopia/Elear?

Is that Utopia on your graph here the original one Tyll tested and loved in his original review, or one of the brighter regular production units he tested later just a few months ago?
Thanks.

Looks like I made the right choice when I decided not to wait and ordered the Clears early this week :) Just a different paint job that´s potentially more difficult to sell on in the used market if needed...

Using a mastering headphone to listen to music as a music appreciator is not nessasarily the correct choice. I’m sure there will be some that go that direction but my bet is you made the correct choice.

This is "Utopia Sample B" from the revised booklet of multiple units measured. It should be representative of the average Utopia response out in the wild.

So there's no sonic difference between the standard and the Pro then? Other than different looks and possibly accessories? Because a Professional version this soon after release makes no sense to me?

This morning it was confirmed the MSRP is $1699 for the pro and $1499 for the Clear we know already.
I'm going to wait two weeks for the announcement of the Focal Clear Pro closed. Or maybe a month for the Focal Spear with driver domes made from acetaldehyde and the Focal Shear with diaphragms made from sheepskin. Or I could hold off until summer for the announcement of the Focal Smear planar model. I don't want to spend money before I know they are all out.

For the Clear Professional is Focal using the parts they didn’t use for all the Elex they weren’t able to sell on Massdrop? Hahaha, I am joking.
Well, I am not joking. Are they using those parts?

Maybe the Professional is the Elex with red pads :)

I wonder what rhyming name they'd think up next and what exotic material they will claim to market it. Haha.

They are screwing up their market value riding this hype train... Should've focused on making a MKII of the Elear at a more affordable price. Elex without the Elex name. They need to introduce their name to the more mid-end minded market rather than appease the top of the heap and chase rainbows and unicorns.
