Tansio Mirai Land (1 DD + 3 BA + 2 EST, 599 USD) & Spark (7 BA + 4 EST, 1499 USD)
It is quite ridiculous how these IEMs can compete at such a high level despite a relatively low price tag. I am impressed. The reason why these IEMs are not as famous as others is probably due to branding.

Yeah. Should have named them Empire Eyes Legend Y and 46 Audio U11t.

I've been looking for a good IEM at around $700 or less. Do you think the Mirai would be the best option at this price range?
Get the Land. It is at 599 USD (1 DD + 3 BA + 2 EST). For me, I don't really care what brand it is. The sound is the ultimate deciding factor. Obviously with bigger brands, they can charge higher price tags and there is better quality control (Not necessarily the time though. I know a big brand screw up their shells probably to cut cost for that period of time.)

@Damz87 My current EDC - GK10 and 1960 2W. Haha. Haven't tried PW Orpheus with it yet.

Is it? Correct me if I’m wrong but when I almost bought a Zeus XR in 2017 it was about $2700 USD. We are in 2021 with a VE flagship that is priced just about the same… and with all do respect, will probably wipe the pants off the Zeus sonically.
It's more a shift in subjective value than sonic improvement I would argue.

In this price bracket it's more like wiping the pants off the last iem that did the same thing.

For Zeus I would classify those as U18t and Wraith. Unless VE has a Zeus equivalent in their line up.
In 2019 when I was starting to join this hobby, I bought AK SR15 for $699.

Today, I can pay roughly that price to get Hiby R6 for a much better UI and sound quality. I can even pay half as much to get LP W2 which delivers amazing SQ.

I don’t see any problem here. 🤷‍♂️ Are people only looking at the higher-end portion of the market and dismissing the other half?
"higher end"? You mean the entry tier to the market right?
I think it's also fair to say a large portion of what you'll find at this show won't be of interest to many enthusiasts outside of HK (or Asia). Indeed many of the products on display are region-specific, and I'd hazard a guess that many are priced exorbitantly because they can be (and because in a room full of high-priced items you don't want to be seen as 'cheap').
This. They really don't need to care or cater to iem whackos outside of Asia to make a killing. So why bother.

On the other hand, it's why so many non Asia companies go to such lengths to cater to the asian market. Hence all the exclusives. The HK audience of note, seem to really dig having them. It's like grifting but with audio gear.
Not gonna lie. I ordered another BL03 just to pair with Orpheus for a laugh. Hopefully it arrives soon 🤣 @ian91 do I need to order a GK10 too?!

Speaking of budget-fi, I got a Moondrop Aria 2 the other day, and man, that thing sounds superb. Only AUD $100. Unbelievable sound for the price. 68807EB1-BBF4-49B9-9E44-26017B84830B.jpeg

I do wish there was generally more brand presence of asian stuff outside of asia. There are a lot of hidden gems there (DMagic for example) that don't involve breaking the bank. I think it's getting there, but some of the pricing doesnt really line up technically wise with what I get from established western oems.

Doesn't the 60s just negate EDC as a concept?

I usually lug the A12t and Monile 2 wire around.

I will say that is rather balanced. You get nice punch from the DD bass, the midrange is still present and clear, treble is open and airy but not bright.

Been wanting to find that IEM to fill that last slot in my favourite 4 IEMs. I guess it is completed now.

Top: Aroma Ace, Oriolus Traillii
Bottom: Fitear Titan, Dunu Luna

For bass aspect, the Titan can come out on top against most hybrid/dynamic IEMs easily but unfortunately, it is difficult to acquire. I am very curious on the Fitear EST Ti.
