The problem is that if those two are having another argument, I'm in the middle of it. One on my left shoulder, the other on the right and me in the middle needing expensive IEMs to try and drown out all the shouting.

It will never stop. I was just discussing with Nic that even though I need to take it easy, I still end up wanting to hear and review everything. It's a serious medical condition called "reviewer" and the only medicine currently available is expensive gear [disclaimer: not to be taken internally].

personally speaking, if it's a remission period for me it has lasted more than any other such period in my 8 years here

you gotta keep things in perspective , i started with a hifiman re-zero (100$) and a sansa clip+ (40$) so getting to a Zeus XR + WM1a is probably higher than i expected to go when i started this head-fi upgraditis run

or isn't it? (insert wyville's shouty devil here)
