So many combinations. We'll need a Google Sheet

That's open to all of us here.

36 combinations wow. It will be the review to end all reviews however.

As a matter of fact I've never tried any of the light bass settings. Hard to let go of the addictive bass.

Agreed! I couldn't go back after switching in the red sub-bass plugs... The bass is pretty well controlled yet provides enough impact - it makes my Westone 4's bass sound slightly bloated after I switched between them back and forth.

Collective review... Sounds like a plan to me!

Yeah. It came with grey grey gold which was fine, though I changed to red grey grey pretty quickly, which is deservedly the popular set-up. Then some bass-driven music sounds more bombastic with the black filter, I think, and the bass is so good I'm fine with having more of it in everything.

I agree with the red-grey-grey combo! I tried red-grey-gold, grey-grey-gold (default), red-black-grey, and red-black-gold. I feel like the red sub-bass provides the best extension, I listen to all sorts of music and the red works equally well for all of them!

Honestly though, there are so many different tuning options that I'm going to have to spend so much time to go through all of them! Has anyone tried the green nozzles?

recommended tuning for classical and jazz acoustic green, gray, gray.   green brings out the treble and detail, especially with strings and piano.

Is the red plug really that good? I'm on the grey, grey gold setup.

Adds a bit more rumble. Not bloated at all. Red-grey-gold is my fave config.

I personally like it a lot - it gives the bass a bit more weight but doesn't affect anything else as far as I can hear.

I think it is the no-brainer filter! =D

Guess you were right. I couldn't take of the FLC from my ear after trying the red plug...
Whew, with a little help from his friends, Forrest is now a Head-Fi member!

I just sent him a link to this thread and asked him to come introduce himself AND to get MoT status ASAP!!!

Welcome aboard! =D
Btw guys, do you face any condensation in the IEM itself? Mine seems to happen on the nozzle...
