Question...One of my housings (ulf housing) isn't solid...The filter juts out a bit and even comes loose (have already lost one filter)...Anyone else also ever have this happen?

I have ULF filters pop out all the time.   Truth be told; the ULF filters are my least favorite part of the FLC8S experience.   They fall out; get lost, and with my replacement set ordered from LMUE one of the six arrived squashed and is unusable.

Just curious, are you guys frequently or semi-regularly swapping filters or is the "gasket" just failing on it's own?

Ouch. It must be terrifying to have one of the filters broken when they are delivered. Took me about 2 weeks for them to arrive. I'd be devastated if that were to happen to me. Does the ulf filter slowly crawl out or ?

I've had one of the ULF gaskets move out of place and start to slip into the shell. I used a pair of tweezers to gently (emphasis on gently) pull it back out and reseat it. Everything's been fine since then. I've never had a gasket spontaneously pop out, and I've had FLC8S for quite some time.

When my failed, I'm certain it was due to overuse. I was switching between red & gray daily. I don't see how the gasket could fail if you pick a ULF filter and stick with it. I know it's not as fun as constant adjustment, but it doesn't appear the ULF port is designed to take a lot of abuse.

Noted. I guess I will just have to stick to gray/gray/gold and be happy!

due to my losing one of the ULF filters has made me creative:
in one ear is red...in the other black.
i do remember jokerl saying that in  his op there is
not much of a difference....so i have a new hybrid ULF
