Oh man, missed the fun.

Great news about the cables!

For those who are interested about "Single Crystal Silver"

It's totally overkill for audio, but that's absolutely cool in my books!

So what I understand is that it's softer than regular silver cables, is far less prone to oxidation, and doesn't brighten up the sound as much as tighten up the sound. Maybe someone more versed in cable voodoo can correct all the mistakes I probably just made, lol,

Haha I know naught of cable voodoo but have some little materials engineering knowledge. For metallurgy, normally there will be some sort of grain in the metal, of which the boundaries are weaknesses (higher energy, more reactive). Single crystals, lacking these boundaries will therefore be of greater purity, stronger and more corrosion resistant. According to @earfonia, for the same reason, single crystal cables therefore reduce Cross Crystal Distortion of electrical signals as there aren't any boundaries to cross.

So you pretty much got it.

Not according to me lah...

According to professor Ohno:
http://canadahifi.com/audio-sensibility-four-ac-power-cords-reviews/
“Cross Crystal Distortion (CCD) occurs when the electron flow passes through metal crystal boundaries and produces audible side-effects like sonic harshness and masking of spatial information.”

Lol you guys go ahead, I'm more than happy with my original FLC8 with black cable.

I sold off my GR07, long considered my standard when comparing earphones. The FLC8 has a similar signature with added refinement and detail across the board, with a better soundstage. Now the FLC8 is the yardstick.

I got my FLC8s review unit this morning.
First of all a big thank you to @DJScope for allowing me to have this opportunity

I have quite a lot to say and I'm thoroughly impressed.
Listening to this earphone makes me quite sad cause I thought my CKR9ltd was the best thing ever when it comes to sound stage and bass quality but.... it clearly is not.....
I'm enjoying music in my library that I would usually skip after a few seconds such as Sonnerie de Sainte Genevieve du Mont de Paris(which is not even in the genre of music that I'm into, I only got it cause it was free on some website at some point) and before I know it the song is over... and I'm pressing repeat

I'm very surprised, I had very low expectations for this IEM but now I'm blown away.
The fit and comfort of this earphone just adds more to the pleasure of listening.
I was confused at first as it fit perfectly the moment I put it in my ear, no wiggling required, nothing. It simply fits so well and feels like nothing in my ears.

I've tried / owned a huge range of earphones all the way from SHE3590 up to SE846 and I am genuinely impressed
