Haven't tried it yet @Whaleshark12, but I'm hoping for more supple, less microphonic, no memory wire, and useful cinch/slider. I'm also interested to see if I can hear the purportedly slightly warmer sound.

Well after spending some time today with the FLC 8S, I find that although the cable feels cheap and springy. It maybe be useful as it does't get tangle at all. I'm currently eyeing on the Null Audio's Arete MKII cable. But I'm not sure which connector for it.. http://www.null-audio.com/products/arete-series-mkii-replacement-cable-for-earphones TF10's connector?

I just purchased the same cable under the impression that the TF10 connectors fit well. They just shipped; I'll let you know if I was mistaken in 10 days or so...

I see those are from the website as well.. How do they hold up? I mean how long before the foam tips go out of commission?

The foam itself holds up really well, so far. Much better than the Comply tips, which seem to get... gross pretty quick. I did, however, have one of the Crystal Tips blow out on me yesterday. The inner-wall busted somehow. Seems they need to be treated more gently than normal tips. They fit perfectly on the FLC8 nozzle, though.

Hmmm, When I'm using single flange tips like the JVC spiral dot it sounds very thin. But when I do use Meelec double flange, it sounds great. Just that the fit is hard to achieve .. :/

There's 2 UE connectors, one is the UE900 MMXC connector and the TF10 2 pin. There are other 2 pin connectors but they're not for UE IEMs and are not compatible with the FLC8.

@DJScope Thanks for clarifying! This clear my doubt at least!

After having around 23 hour of burn in, I find that it sound pretty good with vocal. Currently going gold, black and clear. Bass hit pretty hard but does not bleed into other freq. But the fit is a little hard to fit. Maybe as time goes by it will be easier perhaps?

Try some different ear tips.

Has anyone tried JVC Spiral Dot tips with these?
