nati8056: Are you using shallow insertion or pushing them in as far as they can go? Shallow will accentuate sibilance. Deep will help.
All the silicon tip no so good for me, im using foam tip and deep.
I get alot of bass and isolation so i think that i push them good.
I find no difference in resolution/refinement, I just think DN2KJ is tuned differently with hot treble, not for everyone. But they are in the same category. I just prefer FLC8S tuning, more impactful bass, maybe soundstage width and the endless sound customizations. Also think that FLC8S sounds a bit more realistic and coherent.
Foam tips muddle the vocals and mids are less rich
Anyone AB FLC8S to Pinnacle P1
For me the foam tip is better, the mids and treble less Shrill (but i agree that the silcon tip give Richer mid)
i get also better bass and more quality sound details and isolation
Finally got the missing filters! Now back to critical listening...
Impressions then review to follow.
There might just be a couple of us in the near future
I thin for me the FLC8S is gonna be my end game for awhile. I can't see it being beaten out (for me) by anything at anywhere near the price. I already own the RHA T20, which is extremely good in its own right, and I see Pinnacle as similar to the T20 (single dynamic driver, smooth sound). And for uber detail in a V-shaped signature I have the Finder X1, so I think I'm done for a while.
You are never done too many poison in this audiophile world
So true. Bought this, so nice. Find something else, I want it so bad.
