I have been following this thread for a while and quite intrigued about TG!334.  I will be in Osaka / Kyoto in mid-Nov and would like to audition the headphone.  So far I only know of e-Earphone in Osaka carries it but it's shown to be out of stock.  Where else can I find TG!334?  or am I out of luck?

Well I've already said a few posts back that my 3 months old one is for sale but people who have enquired have offered ridiculous (low!) prices. It's hard to get hold of a new TG without waiting a long long time so if you can't wait and want to pay me what I paid for it (it's not even burned in) then we have a deal. I am quite happy to hang on to it as an investment otherwise.

Thanks to AnakChan....I bought the last piece in Tokyo when I was there and also not as ridiculously expensive as Singapore and Malaysia. Even second hand ones are ridiculously expensive in Singapore and Malaysia

Well, you tend to see the second hand TGs list at the S$1,200-S$1,300 region.

Secondly, it does tend to be the case with top end Japanese audio stuff to command a premium outside Japan. Not to mention you have to factor in the cost of goods to be carried in other jurisdictions. Eg. Singapore is not exactly a cheap place to do business, having now claimed the top spot as the most expensive city in the world.

Finally, there is no telling what sort of dealer price is being offered to the distribution channels outside Japan.

Just to put things into context.

EveTan said they are the Melomanes, minus the silly writings on them.

I was hoping they sound a little closer to the F111's intimate sound than the Parterre's Orchestral Hall tuning. Considering their exactly the same price as the Parterre, I would assume that would be the case.

# of drivers? Looks like an extended shell from the Parterre almost... Maybe it has an additional driver or two?

Could be just the housing for tuning. I don't think it has more drivers than the Parterre simply due to the similar price.

Of course, this is all speculation.

Anyone care to take the plunge on these?

Hello!

It seems not much has been mentioned (some, but pitifully few responses) on TG334 vs MH334.

After trying both demo versions, I felt that TG334 is much brighter and more exciting than the MH334.

Situation: I’d love to get my first customs and while i love the sound of TG334, the MH334 left me uninspired.
However, I’ve also heard that demo sets of customs will not sound like actual customs made for you.

So my question is, for someone who has/had the custom MH334 made to for your ear, does it sound just like the TG334?
