Hi all, I'm just after a few things - since you're the experts, I figured this was the best place to go. I have a set of Shure SE425s currently, though I will be upgrading at a later point, (to something else utilising mmcx connectors), but I would like to make myself a custom braided (and sleeved) balanced (2.5mm TRRS) cable for them. I live in Australia, so I can't go to US materials suppliers, for obvious reasons. First off, I'm wondering what the best cable awg would be for this project - I want to use Oxygen Free Silver, or Oxygen Free Copper, but would like options for each. Second off, I'm wondering what the best sleeving material would be - I've heard MDPC-X is excellent, as is paracord, but don't know if they come small enough to sleeve each wire. Third, where can I buy a Y-splitter (just to keep the cables in place, don't want to solder it)? On a soldering note, do I need to be wary of the material I use to solder the cable? And finally, for now, I'm not sure where to buy MMCX Male terminations, or a 2.5mm connector.

I want to end up with a very high quality (soundwise), that looks as good as it performs. Any and all advice, even if it's not related to the above paragraph, is welcome and appreciated :)
