Alrighty, just got it this morning, but had to head off to work. I'll post up some pics tonight! i got to listen to it for about 5 minutes, and the first thing that I was looking for was any audible hiss....and there was none (at normal hearing levels, not ear-damaging levels)! So this was really good news. Beatles remastered (Here Comes the Sun) sounded very clear, detailed, and punchy, and I noticed that the soundstage for my rock/pop music is even more incredible (AD-700 headphones).

Will post more thoughts as I listen to it more!

Regarding the build quality - while the unit seemed pretty solid, I noticed that my volume knob is a bit tilted. Only ever so slightly, but I can feel it scratching the unit when I turn the knob. I'll be contacting NuForce regarding that...

More later!

Pull the knob out (or even off) and reseat it to the depth you want.

I'm really looking forward to comparing it against the hotaudio Dac-Extasy - if that ever gets here! customs

To Nuforce: Are you ever going to make a version without the RCA and Coaxial out? It would cut down on the size and not to mention the cost. I only listen with my headphones on my computer with my FLAC files.

MOD EDIT: giant pictures changed to links

it looks pretty small enough as it is..and having more than just the headphone out is nice..gives you more options

also, those images are huge :p

Wow. Dude.

I'm excited about the uDac too! But, seriously - the device, in those pictures - is actually bigger than it is in real life. PRODUCT NOT ACTUAL SIZE. etc.

And this is on a 15.4" 1920x1200 laptop screen.

A resize, or linking to them off site, would have been better.

Doesn't really make sense to take out features, imo. I wouldn't have bought it at least w/out RCA outs.

Ever hear of "crop," "resize," or "thumbnail?"

*Please* edit your post and resize those images. Until that happens, I wont be coming back to this thread from my laptop. Really nasty.

good idea.

axima, you can also just upload them as attachments instead, at least then they'll just be thumbnails.

I PM'd him while he was still online asking him to fix the problem. He is now offline so I reported his post as a problem just now.
Sorry guys, we'll have to ignore the gigantic photos till someone fixes the problem.
