Intrigued and awaiting.....hopefully this isn't like the fable of the Tortoise and the Hare (well, rabbit) with the latter taking too much time to get to the finish line.

Off topic question:

I contacted Custom Arts about some tips for a pair of my universal IEMs. They've received my molds and tell me I'm suffering from NACS (narrow aural canal syndrome). :) They said the tips "would stick out more than normal", but haven't elaborated yet.

If anyone out there has narrow ear canals and custom tips, I'd appreciate some information about fit and what "sticking out" means. Please PM me (so as not to hijack this thread).

I've been a long time lurker for FiR Audio. Recently videos relating to M5 has really got me looking at M5 again.
I love a good dynamic driver bass and this is why I always tend to look at designs which incorporate a dynamic driver. Hopefully, VxV is able to bring the quality of M5 to the masses.

I was on the fence with M5, but intrigued to know how with such driver setup they managed that price.
5x5 is not a tubeless design. It has a smaller 6mm low driver to perform closer to a BA. More details will be released when product goes on sale. It does however share most of the direct aperture tech on the highs giving it quite the impressive performance for its price bracket.
