I personally would like to have the AM3D Type C for my X7MKII. Both because I don't have the AM3D and using a type C is more convenient for me as the X7 is my only Micro B device ATM. I do know of a few others that think the same but I doubt they're in this tread.

As I have both the Q5s and the X7MKII, I would definitely buy the upgraded module if it becomes available... Located in USA.

Would you prefer to get a AM3D-Type C module for your X7MKII?

We are checking out our users' demands and taking into consideration whether to sell the AM3D-Type C module separately. So it will be highly appreciated if you could share your option with us. And please update us the country you are locating if you are interested in this. Thanks in advance!

*This investigation does not promise that the AM3D-Type C will be sold individually.

Best regards
Yes! For the Q5s.

Hello everyone! :)

Next month, I am going to buy Focal Stellia for my Fiio X7 MKII and I am not sure which AMP module will be most suitable for them. Do you have any experience with the combo? Currently, I am using AM3D.

I am also thinking about buying a Black Dragon cable from Moon Audio.

I expected that Fiio adds the bit rate and resolution info under the album image in this new versions of Fiio Player. I'm stick on an older version because of this.

I think that de AM3D is the best option connecting it via de 4.4mm balanced output.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement clear plastic case for my Fiio X7ii with AM3D amp? I found a listing on AliExpress but they appear to be out of stock.
Dear friend,

Sorry that I checked again just now and we do not have this clear case in stock now.

Best regards

My X7ii has developed audio problems. I regularly use it as a DAC, but on Monday/Tuesday this week I used it for several hours on battery power, feeding audio via bluetooth to my truck audio system. The battery was down to about 25% when I put it back in the dock to charge. Several hours later I noticed it was still charging and quite warm when I switched it to DAC mode to once again use with my MacBook. Not necessarily what I'd call hot, but warmer than I've ever felt it.

From that point on, the line out through the dock has been about 50% distortion, the line out on top is almost total distortion, and using the headphone jack on the bottom with my earphones is about 10% distorted but with a strange steady tone in the background that sounds close to an 840-ish Hz sine wave. This tone is more or less constant level regardless of the music volume setting (perhaps dropping a bit in amplitude as the volume is increased?). I've tried rebooting a few times, resetting to factory defaults, removing and reseating the cards and amp module, and running the battery down until power-off before recharging to about 80% - nothing has corrected the situation.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be wrong? And if it's not correctible, whether replacing the amp module would be likely to fix the problem?

generally filo has quality control issues. I have filo X7 mark ii --> screen issues with rippling, battery issues, card tray not fitting well. I went to the store and they said that if it works they cannot replace it... never filo again even if sound is really good.

Dear friend,

Sorry about that. It may be a hardware issue with your X7MKII. You could send email to support@fiio.com about that.

Best regards
