Dear friend, James means the update for the FiiO Music APP Android version for Android phone. Sorry if making misunderstanding to you. Best regards
Dear friend, Did you play the song in SD card 2 before pausing? Using the play button in the left side? Best regards
Fiio Music App's equalizer works globally, not the viper, apps own equalizer. Tried with tidal-spotify, it works.
Dear friend, We tested some APPs and found some EQ function in the APPs could work however. We are not sure whether it may relate to some certain APPs which EQ not work. You may contact spotify about that to see whether they could help about that. Best regards
Yes, I am. Is this a known issue? And is there a fix? Unfortunately, I use SD1 to store my Tidal music because using SD2 for Tidal corrupts the downloads, so moving my FLACs to SD1 is not an option.
Dear friend, As you know, both the X5III(or X7MKII) and X7 use the same SoC RK3188. Actually, it just can handle ONE external micro SD card because of this SoC RK9188's own performance, just like X7. And the micro SD card will keep working unless you turn off the X7/X5III. For the X5III, the X5III's micro SD card 1 can be regarded as the X7's micro SD card. Unlike the micro SD card 1, the micro SD card 2 is just simply mounted to the X7MKII/X5III. To simplify, the main difference is that the micro SD card 2 will not keep working once the X7MKII/X5III enters the standby mode*. If the X5III is back from the standby mode, then the micro SD card 2 needs to be powered up. That is why it will take some time to read the data from the micro SD card 2. So you could try to wake up the X7MKII by the power button and wait 1-5s, then press the play/pause button to see if it helps. Best regards
Hm, this seems very much like a workaround, but as you said, having the second SD slot is like a "make do" implementation in the first place, so I understand. Still better than having just one SD slot. Thanks for the tip, will try it out.
Dear friend, You may turn off the wifi and bluetooth when not using that function in order to saving the power. For DSD native output for coaxial or optical output, you could set spdif out to DOP from audio settings from system settings. Best regards
