Oppo PM3 sounds great with X7MkII, both with balanced or stock cable.
i got audeze sine instead of PM3 after a lot of review and I am glad i did that... sine with lighnint cable uses its own dac/amp with dsp and sound is just amazing...its fit is just tight which prevents me to use it for long

so i go back to hd 599 for that open sound with x7ii

They are testing it before release. It won’t be far away now.

I am not sure but i have used this to connect my android phones with usb c to the fiio E17k and they work flawlessly every time. Im not sure if this would support otg per se.
Like all of this OTG cables, the USB-C is the the host, the Android Device. For FiiO X7 MK II, needs a cable that the host be the micro-USB, the side and the connection of the FiiO X7.

Frustratingly despite having signed up to beta test for them (especially regarding the SD2 problem) I haven't heard anything yet. Have you had the opportunity to test the new firmware?

Device beta versions are not Google Canary or Windows beta, those can be really unstable, and unless you're ready to be a beta tester, it is best to not to it.

I run beta everything (I am a software dev by profession so it is par for the course)!

How are you finding it? Did they take a stab at the SD2 issue?

Quite stable. They didn't specifically call out any improvements in dual card use - more with a couple of new features in "now playing" (which many will like), some Bluetooth tweaks and other features.
