fw3.0+ is beta firmware, and is not recommended. when 3.0 gets released officially, then think about that. but not now.

Thanks will try out 2.0 for now. This thing sounds amazing for such a portable all in one package.
Also best all round amp module. Was thinking of the 50% offer. I have Hd600's but dont intend to drive them directly. Only iem i have atm are soundmagic e80c.

I am not super happy with fw2 still, I get random stuff (like music stopping and unresponsive without a boot) happening and now the google play services has started. Just waiting on Fiio to say it is stable ad I am not interested in engaging in a beta test.

With the exception of it not scanning my sandisk 200gb card correctly FW3.0.8 is definitely better than FW2.0.

I also had the google services error problem. To fix it I made a factory reset, download the spotify .apk (the only app I intend to install on this device) to the internal memory and installed it manually instead of using google play.

I have had the google play service problem for months but in the recent week it got so bad it would not let me press the factory reset button in the setup window. had to reset with external buttons. worked for a few hours then crashed again. also added another pop up service menu with options to deny or accept, somthing about allowing google to get data on my device for evaluation purposes.

what the heck, I turned on the player and the google error message went totally bezerk, in an unbelievable way I am on firmware 2 and its really really really bad like popping up ever 3 seconds
 
I tried to delete dalik cache but it did not work
 
please fiio release the new firmware as this error is a disaster by itself

Same problem here. It's like their was a change in the last week with fw2, but I am not aware of any changes I made.

​the fiio x7 on firmware 2 is going total nuts now with google error, what the heck is going on for gods sake
 
a total disaster
