Depends on the music app, won't work with the stock app. Install the best drivers. Easiest way, install the one from the play store.

Im kinda new to Viper also, got any links?

Which viper4android did you install and which driver was installed too , isn't working on mine:neutral_face:

I recommend this build

https://www.dropbox.com/s/mq1nft0mk46o2es/ViPER4Android_v2.3.3.0_-_elesbb_Profiles_Widget.apk?dl=0

It has 95% of the features of the newest build (which isn't on Google Play anyway) and has a bugfix for reliable profile loading that isn't included in any official build.

If you want the newest build, it can always be found here:

Hi guys, im a newbie here. Greetings
biggrin.gif

I have been using x7 for about a week and i found it sounds amazing, and which is better than my previous ak100ii. More impact in the low bottom and bigger soundstage, even the differences is subtle but noticable enough. The sq is amazing, but the software needs improvement here and there. A few suggestion to improve from me to @FiiO @JamesFiiO
1. Please add the unsync lyric, i have none synced lyrics so its pretty useless for me. Maybe you can add it simply after the sync lyric screen, tap once and it will show the unsync lyric. Or you can show the available one
2. Please make it supports m3u playlist, its kinda hassle when you have a playlist tab, but you have to open the folder browser and go to your imported playlist file, then open it. Cant you just integrate it into one tab?? Just like ak100ii
3. Please make it remember the last playlist so it can continue where it left last time after reboot. Im currently at fw 2.0 and everytime i reboot, my last played item is gone. Its bothering since i usually make a big number in playlist, and i wanna continue where i left off
4. Please add album artwork in lockscreen while playing the tracks, most player support it and you can add this feature
5. And maybe android 5, since it wont have limitation in SRC so it will play any music in its native sample rate. CMIIW
Maybe that's all. Until you guys add those maybe i can stick with jetaudio

And maybe anybody knows, can jetaudio play 24 bit natively?? While its playing 24 bit tracks i saw it only output to 16bit 44.1KHz

Thanks

rizki8490, thanks for your suggestions , we did report your suggestions to our engineer , we will try our best to fix them.

Yes, it seems to happen to the first track I play after turning it back on. Always happens when the first song is resuming.

Also, although the resume button in lock mode is kinda fixed, now it will not resume when pressed until the screen is turned on. So, press resume button, nothing - then turn on screen and the music starts again. Traded one bug for another.

Also, pretty sure gapless playback is doing nothing on the fiio app.

Anyone know how to turn gapless on Neutron?

update firmware 2.0 have 2 issues
1.just stops at the end of a track
2.when i turn on the first time player and start to play the volume go down and after 2-3 sec.go upp

Yes, same here with volume. Also, volume on Neutron and Fiio app ore different, fiio app louder. Geez, the X7 just continues to have a large amount of bugs, not acceptable for a $1000 device....

Yes. It's a hardware problem. 100%.

How noticeable is this noise during wifi streaming and is it only with sensitive IEMs? Can you hear it through the line out with speakers?

I hear it through all my 3.5 mm headphones and through the LO on my KSE1500. I hear it any time the wifi is turned on. It's a bit disappointing given that I've never heard this type of interference from my phone (Galaxy S7 Edge), or even any of my older, crappier iPhones.  The way around this is to download your music files for offline playback and then disable wifi before you start listening. Once its own radios are disabled, the X7's shielding is quite good (unless you put your cellphone right on top of it).

BTW, the Chord Mojo is waaaaay worse in this regard, because it picks up EMI/RFI from anything - you basically have to move to the antarctic with a 10000 km cable

The different volume actually the android system default, in this case fiio music app add another 6db in pre amp. That's why when you install the viper4android and set the pre amp to 6db it solves the difference in volume level cmiiw

And the raise in volume level after you hit the play is actually no bug, it is intended to do so. Maybe fiio can make this feature on or off
