You can place your phone on top of the X7 and not hear any interference? Wow, maybe my unit is affected by the lack of shielding and I've just been lucky with strong wifi signals where I haven't heard the issue yet? I did get one of the first units from the Headphonebar (probably why my batch number R212A is different than everyone's T333A). Is there a process for replacing the units? Do we ship them directly to FIIO or do we ship them back to the retailer?
Yep, I just did as a test when I saw your post, not that I do that on a consistent basis. Bought mine at the same place, my unit is T333a so far so good, if I had a problem, I would go through retailer first and take it from there.
The Priv is ok but nothing special, just bought the Moto X Style(Pure in the USA) and it's a better sounding phone for music when not paired to the Mojo. The Priv lacks decent volume and just overall lacks the same airy detailed sound of the Moto. It's not terrible and is decent compared to others though, selling mine at the minute.
Yes, waiting on the Onkyo hopefully be with me in around 2 weeks.

The interference issue for which we are accepting returns is related to the internal WiFi, not a strong source in the proximity like the mobile phone. Also as others have noted the type of carrier the mobile phone is on affects things, for example 2G GSM radio produces strong interference in all sorts of audio devices.

I waited enough. I gonna to ask my local reseller a refund because Dac USB function is still not implemented. As it is a part of specification of the device I bought, I legally have right,in my country, to have a refund if the product is not conform to specification. Too bad, there was a good product at the beginning.

Good things come to people who wait. I am sure Fiio will release the USB DAC function as they claimed: in a future firmware release. They didn't claim it has that functionality yet.
But if you are not happy with the X7 - return it as long as you have the chance.

Why release it without DAC functionality? All their competitors have this. Also, their £150 X3ii has it! Like I said in a previous post. X7 was released 6 months early. Anyone wants to questions that, tell me why that isn't the case.
I'd agree with that it's a very positive response.
I'm pleased that this has clarified that my unit was also faulty with regard to the noise issue.
The other 'showstopper' for me was the inability to store Tidal offline content to the SD card.
I've also had a very positive response from FiiO tech support on this. They are working on the problem and will, if possible, provide a fix in a future firmware update.
I'll await developments on this front before going elsewhere. If it can be fixed, and if the additional amp modules appear to meet expectations, I expect to be buying another X7 in the future.
akg k702 using fiio e12a amp and sony xba h3s ......off thread i know but if anyone has a suggestion for replacement of the sony xba h3 ...love the sound but want something a bit more neutral and for me there not the most comfortable after time.
