Well not all of us own a ZX-1 to compare, so yeah...

3rd day in use.  I should start writing up tonight.  I can just say for now that the X5 sounds so damn good that it's going to be a hard time sending to the next person lol.

Hi guys,

Based on the suggestion here
http://www.head-fi.org/t/703058/suggestion-to-improve-fiios-bug-management-and-feature-tracking-as-well-as-to-create-a-knowledge-base

I opened a BugZilla account for the X3 and X5
https://app.devzing.com/FiiO/bugzilla/

edit: note the URL above has been changed from FiiOX5 to FiiO!

This will only be open for a 14 day trial so I hope you guys make good use of it in these two weeks to make a convincing case for FiiO to keep using it for a fee!
Or if BugZilla turns out to be too hard to use we may try UserVoice instead.

Hi Joe,

Sounds good. I have identified some small bugs. Unfortunately I cannot know if they might have been resolved in v.1.10. I cannot use that because of the lock screen warning. I actually switch to Lockscreen 1 when I am walking around to prevent accidentally activating the forward or back keys as tends to happen in my pockets. (Actually a Lockscreen 3 setting that leaves just the Volume keys active would be nice as those never get accidentally pressed.) However I can't upgrade from v.1.0 or those accidental key presses will burn the battery as the screen lights up.

Might you release an interim further upgrade with that warning function removed - or the ability to turn  it off in the settings?

Thanks!

Hi guys,

I didn't know you could have multiple products under one BugZilla site so named it FiiOX5 but both the X3 and X5 are open for bug tracking there.

The site may be renamed to
https://app.devzing.com/FiiO/bugzilla/
later.

This will only be open for a 14 day trial so I hope you guys make good use of it in these two weeks to make a convincing case for FiiO to keep using it for a fee!

Great idea, another alternative; in the DX50 main thread we created a thread topic for logging bugs on this site. So this could also be done with a link added on page 1. The only issue is that it gets hard to search unless someone summarize the findings in a table on the first page of the bug list. In my opinion what I find important, from what the member suggested is not only filling bugs but also wanted features. It really does not matter if you can implement it at this stage on the X5, it's more important to have a repository of ideas for possible implementation in the future.

I'll have a look at your suggestion up there once I have some free time.

Still haven't received the tour unit for Asia....lunar new year is the culprit (and Vietnam's inefficient bureaucracy). Hopefully it will be here this week, but I won't hold my breath.
