For instance this link: http://www.fiio.net/en/story/242

It just leads me to this:

Which leads me to : http://fiio.net/en/fiio

Well this is the link that I quoted, which leads me to the page headed "Home / News / FiiO Releases the X5 New Firmware FW2.4" using Firefox, so it could well be browser related.

one change with all these themes:

i made the "see-through" background on the nowplaying screen (where you see tracklength, trackname, artist, album name) less opaque, making the albumart more visible.

i believe the text is still readable. let me know if it's too much.

Thank you very much!
I really like the simply straight theme!

Here is a work in progress tease of the Tesla theme that I hinted at earlier. It's just the launcher menu currently. I have some ideas I'd like to flesh out for the rest of the interface and the boot/shutdown animations but not sure I'll have the time. Getting busy, but I thought I'd show a sneak peak.

The idea in my mind was a lot better than this, but given the limited animation possibilities plasma/lightning may not be the best design base. Lol. I may add some textured gradient to the BG but I like the contrast with the black. I'm happy that it works in this test though.

I plan to try and lose the red text in the launcher if I can still get the red EQ to display in the banner when playing a song (I know I'd miss that), if not I'll just keep it. I also wish we could change the red text color to something else, but I know we can't.

P.S. Sorry for the blurry, dull phone pics. It looks much better in person. Nice and bright and crisp without camera exposure issues.

First post updated with contributions of everyone up to this post.

The only exception is Carel's contribution that was directly added to the second post containing the archive. My reasoning behind that is that people looking specifically for v2.0 firmwares will go look directly in that second post.

It's great to see new modders joining the fun!

That would be way cool if you animate the plasma. Feel your pain about the colours, during the series of x3 updates we've lost the ability to change some of them too.
