Yes, you can add songs and folders to playlists created on the X5 as well as accessing externally created playlists from your computer.

The only drawback so far is slow load times when you first open a big (ie 1000s if tracks) playlist. It's fine once it's loaded, but currently there's no "loading" sign so it looks like the X5 has frozen until you suddenly see your playlist of songs.

Cool. I am interested in making short playlists for immediate listening so the 1000 track concern is not mine.
 
When I get back home, I will have to try this...

I'm a developer and even for a developer I have a pretty organized brain (I wish I could say the same about my workspace) so it's quite easy for me to order stuff.
 
I think it's a good thing to have everything at the same place.

I am very impressed with 2.07Beta. The ability to return to the Now Playing screen from the File Browser using the top left key without losing your place in the File Browser is a huge improvement. Bravo!
 
I updated 2.07Beta to the Aztechno Gold 90° rotated menu reversed scrolling before I even installed it. Here is the link for anyone that may be interested.

How do you add a folder to a Playlist please?
