Hello, FiiO!
 
I would love to have a chance to listen to and write a review for the X5 2nd Generation.  I have long been a fan of your products (as you will see below with all the FiiO products I own).  I have also written several reviews for products ranging for all budgets!  
 
Whether you choose me or not to review your new product I do want to commend you on creating what looks like a wonderful product.  I am always impressed by your innovation and willingness to collaborate with the Head-Fi community. Keep up the good work!

FiiO: Not to bias you too much, but Whaleshark12 is solid, and I'd love to see his take on the new X5!

And I'd love to take it for a test drive myself and see how it stacks up against the many other DAPs I've got in this price range.

Waiting to get an X5 3rd gen. This is one of the most exciting mid-tier DAPs I've seen. I'm hoping FiiO's UI improvements sway me. I honestly wasn't sold on X7 when it was released for various reasons, a major one being the UI (both hardware and software). It caused some waves when I released that review. FiiO is quick to learn and adapts, so I'm eager to see if this one grabs me!

I'm also curious how it competes soundwise with Shanling M5 and Opus #1, which have become my go to DAPs in this price range.
