Hi, I have a question here. Is it possible to sync (saved and unsynced) lyrics in the Fiio Music App on the X5iii?

Old fiio music app have a tool for that, use shift -0.5 or +0.5 to sync. Is on the new Fiio music app too.

Anyone had an issue with Amazon Music not working no matter what I do every time I try to play a song It just tries to load a song and never plays

After a long time of analysis, currently,we think that this problem is caused by Amazon Music itself, but we will still follow that problem.
1. In Amazon music v16.2.4 version， a sampling rate less than 88.2k cannot be played , while v16.1.10 version can.
2. When playing sampling rate 48K in amazon music v16.2.4, the parameters are not set correctly, which lead to the crash of libOpenSLES library
W libOpenSLES: Leaving BufferQueue::Enqueue (SL_RESULT_PARAMETER_INVALID)
AmznMusic_DMPPlayer: [audiodriverimp.cpp :289] Failed to enqueue next frame, enqueue result code = 2
The final result is that the application has no data for the underlying playback. So the underlying mixer programme enters standby mode.

3. When the third-party app starts playback first (the sampling rate is higher than or equal to 88.2k), the underlying will use the previous parameter to set track if you turn on the Amazon Music app after that. And the Amazon Music app could work fine now.

Therefore, this issue with sampling rate less than 88.2k is required to fix by Amazon Music. And we have reported to them as well.
Please also contact Amazon Music if you have the same problem in order to get their attention for fixing this problem in sooner time.

I haven't been reading the forum for a while. I have a few questions about my X5iii:

1) Under "About", it says I'm running Build 1.1.7 and FIIO Music 3.3.2. My device tells me that both are the most recent versions (using wifi to check). According to FIIO's website the most current firmware is 1.2.1 and there is a FIIO Music 3.4.1. Is there I reason my device can't update to these more recent versions? Should I do it manually by USB?

2) FIIO Music sorts "Artists" by the "Artist" tag (I use iTunes to tag files). Almost every other player uses the "Album Artist" tag, so that the tag I use for my primary sorting. Is there a way to have the X5III sort artist by "Album Artist"?

3) I've got two 400 gb sd cards in the device. Each has about 80 gb of free space. But its' cause a noticeable slowdown in performance of the device. I recall reading earlier that others have put in two 400 gb cards without any problems. Is there anything I can do improve performance? Some type of disc cleanup? I use iSyncr to bring over the files if that matters.

4) Is there any way to get FIIO Music to sort music by Composer? Perhaps a third-party add on?

5) Am I correct that Playlists have to be created on the device and the songs will only be listed in alphabetical order? (Which makes it fairly worthless.)

Most recent version of "old" FiiO music is 3.4.3 (can download it here: https://www.mediafire.com/download/rz2ck1ahtmnxtyo)
Most recent version of FiiO music app is 1.1.5 (do not use version from Google play store, use this one: fiio-file.fiio.net/FiiOMusicX1.1.5.apk)

2. We've requested that FiiO look into sorting by album artist but their "engineers" haven't yet looked into it, despite the years that it's been asked of them.

3. Custom Kernel can improve performance see here: https://kernelmods.com

4. Third party applications like UAPP & Neutron & PowerAmp do sorting options like you're trying to find. If there's not a composer tab in FiiO music 3.4.1, it's not found in latest 1.1.5 version either. So it would behoove you to seek out those other applications. There's no third party add ons for FiiO music directly.

I do use Foobar 2000, but I haven't been very happy with it lately. I may try one of these others.

Is there a current consensus on the best third party music app?

Those mentioned players all support fully the hi res dac in x5iii, foobar2000 I believe resamples & limits to 16/48.

Some of these links are directly from FiiO's forums.. However FiiO does have FiiO.com and FiiO.me as websites so perhaps that's the confusion.
