What headphones or IEMs do you plug info the X5 III/A5 combo ?
I have Fitear Togo 334, not shure if A5 woukd bribg something...

334 lacks some treble.

I use Sony XBA A3 and Fidue A91. Sony XBA A3 is very difficult to detect the difference. But for Fidue A91, changes is pretty much noticeable at first listen. (even thou fidue is eaiser to drive than Sony).

As i never tried fitear togo 334, can't really claim that it will improve your setup. But assume you said "very sensitive" I suppose you also benefit from black background (no hiss) using A5? At least for my Fidue A91. There is audible hiss without amp and with A5 amp is very quiet.

Pairing with X5 III, there is no hiss (unlike adding E12).

Hmm. Not sure if my unit got issue, again. Fidue probably not that sensitive, which should less prone to hiss.

I guess the best is to try out. Hard to say unless someone have the same setup as you.

Headphones I use with X5III are Beyer Dynamic T51p , B&O H6 & Meze 99 Classic. iems are Xiaomi Mi Pistons, Trinity Audio Vyrus 2, Trinity Audio Master and many others

I have two reasons that cant use the fiio music app
1.First reason is that i cant see the id tags when it is written in Greek this issue is only on cue files .
2.The second reason is that the alphabet order for greek characters is not right and as i have big collection it is difficult to find the artist or album i want.

For the first issue i solve it using the poweramp because they have option to choose the id encoding also aksed the neutron developer and he told me he will include windows-1253 in next update
The second issue exist only in fiio app and i believe it is not difficult to solve it .

I contacted with support and the answer was

"As for the Greek alphabet order, we deep know it is importan feature for Greek customers, but we are afraid that we can not implement that feature at present after assessing its feasibility. "

From the answer I understand that you don't care about greek customers .


Also i want ask you if it will be a remote application in future to remote our device from our smartphone
something like HiByLink?

Also one more thing when i press the power button the screen does not turn on immediately
is this delay normal?
I have an old smartphone (single core 512mb ram) and it wake up faster when i press power button.

I guess I like something that's punchy and musical, with good emphasis on vocals. Nothing too smooth, as I like my details and speed. For my gear, I'm gonna use the Acoustunes HS1551, Oriveti Primacy, and a Final Audio E3000 into it

Given the details you send, X5-3 should satisfy you well!

The top end is smooth, how smooth is hard to say, but it is smooth.

Just received my KZ ZS5's and my they do sound very nice out of the X5III
