Can anyone else tell me if this is a common issue and if there is any resolution?

When ever I play playlists on random play all the player always gets to a point where it will play the first 2-3 seconds of a song, then crash. Sometimes this happens right away, other times it will take 1/2 hour for it to happen. It seems completely random as to when it will happen, but it will happen every single time as long as you let the playlist play long enough. I only use externally created playlists so I can't say whether it's a problem with internal as well.

I've tried to keep track of what's happening and it doesn't seem to be song specific (i.e. a song may crash at one time, but play perfectly well another). I've also noticed it happen with playlists of just 100 or so songs, so I don't think it has anything to do with length of the playlist. I suspect that the player is having an issue accessing both of the SD Cards as I will sometimes get a message about drives being unexpectedly dismounted. However, the player does play the first 3 seconds of the next song before crashing, so the player is obviously able to access the drive it needs for that amount of time before the app crashes.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?
Dear friend,

Would you mind sending the playlist to us first? What's the TF cards you are using? We will try to reproduce the issue you met first.

Best regards

Battery life = about 3-4 hours playing random flac/mp3 - not enough for real-world portability!

Solution;
Anker Powercore 10000
3.6 x 2.3 x 0.9in (credit card size)
Amazon $25.99

This great little device provides constant portable, uninterrupted charging for days without having to tether the x5 to a dock or to a wall charger. This Anker is like a portable wall charger.

I use this one, it is the perfect size, solid construction and quick charge 3.0.

When people say the "get" x hours, what does that mean. Is that until the X5III shuts down on low power? Is it when you typically just recharge it.
When I was talking about getting "about" 8 hours. That did not mean that it stopped working... but that is was low enough that I just decided to recharge it.

I try not to completely drain any battery...

That's awesome guys, thanks for the responses. I'm however stuck on whether I want to keep and use the one I just procured from a friend, as I'm a bit on the fence regarding the sound. What are your thoughts?

What kinda sound do you like?

X5-3 offers a smooth sound with a good bass and heathly soundstange.

Also, what headphones are you going to plug in it?

I guess I like something that's punchy and musical, with good emphasis on vocals. Nothing too smooth, as I like my details and speed. For my gear, I'm gonna use the Acoustunes HS1551, Oriveti Primacy, and a Final Audio E3000 into it
