For what it's worth, I can't get the Neutron app to recognize 2 SD cards. It only reads 1 and I can't figure out a way around it (it will recognize both, but it gets an error when it tries to read one of them).

I like Mediamonkey and it recognizes both cards, but I can't get it to scan my entire collection to sort by tags (only the folder mode works right now). Still trying to trouble shoot that, but honestly I haven't had much luck with most 3rd party music apps I've tried so far with the x5iii. They all seem to have a hard time managing 2 external SD slots.

I just downloaded Neutron, and it read off both my 128gb cards no problem. Does it only have issues reading multiple 256 gb cards?

Try a 24/192 high resolution file that has a bit rate of more than 5000 Kbps (Kilo bits Per Second) with the coaxial out. That's where the noise/static starts for me.

Heck every time i play 24/192 and try to skip the track. The music app FCs. So its a no go for me still.

No the paid version is ad free. They have introduced folder view, albeit i liked the earlier UI better.

Thats what was mussing, FOLDER, search by folder.

Hi All
Just bought a red fiiox5iii and have been reading the horror stories re firmware 1.1.7, Checked my unit and it is not only reporting firmware 1.1.5 but tells me this is the latest firmware! I also checked out the firmware upgrade tool and options seem to be for 1.1.7, 1.1.6 and 1.1.4. No mention of 1.1.5. Am I missing something??
