Hello, looking for some adapter as my utsw5 is mmcx, anything good for 2pins?
I want to sell my fiio iems and use my blessing 2 :)
The adapter i got from amazon was unclipping itself from the iems.
I got some on AliExpress for about $20. Too expensive for what they are IMO but that was the cheapest price I could fine. They're good quality and have been working fine.

@FiiO

Have you reported an issue with Ambient Mode?

In very rare cases, the volume in Ambient Mode can be loud enough when playing certain codecs and sound sources, but in most situations, the volume is too low to make this feature meaningful.

As someone who uses UTWS5 all day, it's a pain to have to take it off every time I need to listen to something else.
Due to this issue, I have temporarily given up on the sound quality of UTWS5 and am using RMCE-TW2.

Please take this issue seriously and fix it quickly.

For me, the LDAC 990/909kbps does not work. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It will play OK for max one hour and then crackles and distortion begin. And this is happening if I will keep my phone in the same room with me or carry it around in my pocket. If I will leave the room without my phone, it will loose connection.

I've also set it to 660kbps and it seems to work OK, again as long as I carry for phone with me around the house.

I've stopped using the UTWS5.

In my case, I tested it on a Realme 9 5g speed, Nothing 1 and 2, and a Motorola Edge 30, and 990Kbps worked fine for at least 4-5 hours. I bought the cheapest of these, a Realme, for the transmitter.

iFi go pod has similar limitations, so I don't know why only the UTWS5 doesn't work well with the Galaxy. If I have time, I'll test the UTWS5 with the Galaxy Fold and Flip5 at a Samsung store.

However, distance is obviously not long.
It works for about half the range that it did with 660Kbps or Aptx Adaptive. I do get a little bit of jitter when I'm about 10 meters away from a wall.
There doesn't seem to be much difference from other LDAC codeless products (Fiil pro 2, Anker space A40).

I am quoting you only because you've mentioned the iFi GO Pod and I own it.

With my GO Pod I am listening constantly using LDAC 990/909kbps without any connection drop, distortion, or anything else, throughout my entire property. I can leave my S23 Ultra in my office, located on the 2nd floor of my property, and go upstairs on the 3rd floor, in the bedrooms and the bathrooms, without any disconnection, without any quality loss or anything else. I am using the Bluetooth Codec Changer premium App, so LDAC 990/909kbps is switched on automatically as soon as my GO Pod pairs with my phone.

I am posting here this information only because it is my truth. I have already paid for two (2) pairs of the UTWS5 and I have genuinely enjoyed them with my previous phone, the POCO F2 Pro, using LHDC for a couple of years. I had good times.

Now, the GO Pod functions perfectly for me. Equally perfectly the UTWS5 functioned for me using LDHC on my previous phone.
I am not doing a UTWS5 VS GO Pod, here.
That's all I am saying.

Hi. Does PEQ is supported and stable (doesn't reset) with 1.74 firmware?
It seems to save now, but when first taking out of the case one side often has a different level to the other - I then have to 'make a change' to the EQ for it to work itself out.
Also have had to turn custom EQ off and on again.
The EQ curve does seem to stick though.....

Still buggy :-/

Just to chime in on the LDAC...

My phone is a Poco F3 with the crDroid ROM, which doesn't have LDHC.

My Qudelix 5k plays LDAC flawlessly at 990kbps, but with the UTWS5, I have to put it on 330kbps, or it's totally unstable and barely even starts playing.

Dear friend,

Yes. We will try to report to them again now.

Best regards

No, not at all. After the latest firmware update, it is in full Stereo, as shown in the Developer Options and in the Bluetooth Codec Changer (premium version) App.

Here are some of the notes of the latest v1.49 firmware for the GO Pod:

1) Add QHS (Qualcomm High Speed Link) support. Added QHS support, with frequency response up to 40K.

2) Optimize the 990K code stream of LDAC. Note: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 or above CPU (high code stream
requires high processor) can be supported.

3) Add high definition 32K calls. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 or above CPUs (high requirements for processors) can
now support this.

So, it is definitely Stereo.

I take this back, sorry for the confusion.

This morning I have tried again LDAC 660kbps and, unfortunately, it does not work, either. After an hour or so, it starts crackling. I've also observed that if I will open another App besides the music App, say Chrome, crackling noises start.

So, I am now convinced that FiiO's experimental LDAC does not work at all on my Samsung S23 Ultra, so I am going back to aptX.

No worries.
